About Paul Katsus

Throughout his life and career, electrical and utilities contractor Paul Katsus has maintained involvement in a vast array of professional, charitable, and personal activities, promoting excellence in each of his endeavors. A longtime resident of the Houston, Texas, area, Paul Katsus attended college in the city and earned his B.S. in Marketing and Management in 1992 from Houston Baptist University. After graduation, Paul Katsus entered the professional arena, ultimately landing a position with one of the largest energy and natural gas corporations in Houston, where he has cultivated a unique skill set in electrical service consulting.

An electrical consultant for more than 15 years, Paul Katsus has served the various needs of corporate and residential clients alike, providing the full spectrum of services to assess and meet electrical requirements. In this capacity, Paul Katsus serves as a project manager, with a focus on such objectives as the calculation of electrical needs, the analysis of easement requirements, and the design of overhead and underground  electrical distribution facilities. Paul Katsus uses the latest software to design his projects. LdPRO is an AutoCadd  based software that has electrical distribution engineering calculations built in. This allows Paul Katsus to design the most efficient designs possible and maximizes the use of electrical utility facilities.

Some of the numerous awards conferred on Paul Katsus over the years include Focus Group of the Year and various honors for his innovative initiatives. Paul Katsus holds membership in the Engineering & Utility Contractors Association (EUCA), through which he collaborates and learns from other professionals in the field. In addition, Paul Katsus is a member of Toastmasters International, where he practices and develops his public speaking, communications, and leadership skills. An active contributor to various charitable efforts in the greater Houston area and beyond, Paul Katsus has given to organizations, such as United Way Worldwide, American Heart Association, and Fun-Fair-Positive Soccer. When not working, Paul Katsus enjoys playing soccer, golfing, and fishing. An avid reader as well, Paul Katsus counts Margaret Mitchell, Jules Verne, and Stephen King among his favorite authors.
