Wading does not seem to disturb the Founder and while wading, the angler can feel with his feet where the drop-offs are located. Flounder tend to hold in these drop-off areas. Casting parallel to the drop-off ledges can bring the best success because you are keeping your lure in the prime spots for feeding fish the entire retrieve. You will also want to fish the bottom of the drop-offs,  because the pockets of baitfish and other favorite fish tend to collect there. Remember to fish the currents. The currents are best fished when the current is flowing from shallow to deep. The fish should be waiting for the bait to flow off the shallow waters and into the drop-offs. Fishing the ledges is most successful under these conditions
